Pleasley Vale (Little Matlock), then by Pleasley Colliery Visitors Centre onto Teversal trail but turn off onto Rowthorne Trail then into grounds of Hardwick. Never had any problems cycling through Hardwick and fantastic downhill to Hardwick Inn. Used quiet roads to join 5 Pits then Morton/Stonebroom back to Teversal trail. Derbyshire part of trail has been resurfaced with very smooth hardcore. As soon as border with Notts is crossed it's less well maintained. Lincs gets tarmac, Derby's get great hardcore! As ever fantastic value bacon or sausage cob at Teversal Visitor centre. BTW: Teversal is the place referred to as Tevershall in D H Lawrence 'Lady Chatterley's Lover'
