The elevation became significantly steeper as we approached the hut. The weather above 1,000 m a.s.l. was foggy, so we didn’t have any views.
Inside the cottage, it was crowded and all the tables were occupied, so we waited more than 45 minutes to dine, but at least we were able to warm up. On the return, we had a lot of fun sledging downhill using our gaiters.
