We used combination of yellow, red and green marked hiking trails. Markings are good, I also used GPS watches to navigate en-route. Mostly mountain forest paths that become alpine above the treeline. Some sections are steep. Weather is unpredictable at the peak of Babia Hora. It changed within few hours from sunny to snow blizzard. Along the road, few km after start from Slaná Voda we passed Hviezdoslavova aleja & Hájovňa pod Babou Hora, interesting stop with local history. We had no view from Babia Hora or Malá Babia Hora due to a snow blizzard at elevations above 1,500 m a.s.l..

An absolute must for every Zakopane visitor! Moderately challenging loop is all about variety and great vibes. Expect a longer walk with gentle ups and downs as the trail winds through the beautiful White Creek Valley, opens up at the Kalatówki Glade, and finishes with epic views from Mount Nosal. Forest paths, mountain meadows covered with snow, fresh air, and a classic Tatras panorama—this hike packs it all in without feeling hardcore.
