Aquesta ruta és ideal per als dies gèlids d’hivern, quan la boira es retira i ve de gust fer un itinerari assolellat. El bucle final trenca amb la monotonia del tram planer i una mica avorrit fins a Centelles. Agafarem un camí que passa al costat del Purgatori, on un cable d’acer ens recorda que hem d’anar molt atents. Les vistes dels Cingles del Cerdà amb el Pirineu al fons són espectaculars.
