Day 7 - To Tetouan

The road out of Chef was downhill all the way to Tétouan. Although mainly dual carriage way the traffic was largely respectful.

We had a hoofing headwind to contend with but on the whole this was our first rest day. Arriving in Tetouan, we did the usual coffee then find a hotel. After some deliberation got one inside the city walls. Trying to find it created some issues as we were looking for different hotels. This made us bait for the hotel touts.

One latched on to us and like a shit that does not flush, kept on our case. He was super aggressive. When we found the hotel Riad Dari the tout proceeded in grabbing money from Steve. Luckily Steve had already split the mine so he couldn’t help himself to big money.

On arrival to the hotel they were surprised we had bikes after some confusion they found us a place to park our bikes. The room they gave us was too small and smelt of cat piss. As Paul said the best thing they could do is remove the review comments. While looking for the hotel we went through the soco(market). As we were in high tension I was not keen on seeing the soco anymore. On hindsight we should have walked around.
