Last day. Ride to the van. Coming out of Almerimar was not the most memorable ride. Hit some cycle lanes and service roads. Noisy traffic on one side but benefits are not alot of climbing. There was an option of another route which was potentially prettier but weaved in and out of towns. Time being in our minds we opted for ease. Nutrition was petrol stations! When we got to Almeria we headed to the cafe where it all started for a sandwich and coffee. Then to the van for packing the bikes and shower on the beach. Got to the airport in plenty of time. Airport is small so check in was chilled out.

Got to Spain via the ferry which was not full. The staff were relaxed about us rolling our sleep mats and actually got a great night sleep. As we went through customs we were made to remove out bike bags to put them through the scanner. Would have been easier not to attaché the bags Finally had the night on the beach. Got to Almerimar early after doing 50miles found a bar pura vida which initially was for coffee but we had a pint which became 2 then 3. We researched a restaurant which we was a bit expensive. After sunset we found a place on the beach and used the sun beds as beds worked well as were not in the sand. The beach also had showers which are a benefit.
