Honister Slate Sculptures and Café

Highlight • Monument

The buildings at Honister are decorated with iconic slate sculptures. The buildings house a café (I recommend the mars bar tray bake), a shop, toilets and you can book mine tours, via ferrata and more from here.

A nice spot for a stop and explore. There are quarry entrances, the old work huts and more. Great views coming up or down here. Just be mindful that slate is not the easiest type of stone to walk on.
