Hiked the WaWaWe premium hiking trail "Birgeler Urwald" again.
It was another lovely, short, and entertaining hike with a friendly group, in beautiful weather.
New starting point is on Heinsberger Straße (small parking lot) in Wegberg (Wildenrath).

Note: From 13.07.2026, an alternative route will be established on the premium hiking trail „Birgeler Urwald“ due to construction work for the wind farm. The hiking trail will therefore be slightly shortened. Access via Dalheim-Rödgen is not possible until further notice. Please follow the signposted "Alternative Route".
