We had set our altitude gain budget on a "low budget" today. The tours of the last few days were still a bit lingering in our bones. That's why we chose this loop around Offenburg. From the fairly central and free parking lot, it's only a few meters to the official route, which leads us into the nearby forests and rural landscapes immediately after leaving the urban infrastructure. We pass the first gravel lake and treat ourselves to a walk around Lake Schutterwald. Here, the natural circular path is lined with all kinds of art along the way. There's also a free lido, which offers everything for this summer day. Passing further lakes, we then slow down for a quick stop at the TIKI beach bar, where we find some treats for hot days to cool off. A very nice atmosphere, and with the reggae rhythms playing, we experience a real beach feeling. Afterwards, we continued gently uphill into the vineyards past Ortenberg Castle, and as a reward, we were rewarded with a magnificent view. The photos give the best impression. A soft, easy route with beautiful views; this is also a clear recommendation :-)
I started at the hiking car park on the extended Moltkestrasse. From there, it goes over the bridge to Windschläg. At Griesheim, you cross the Kinzig and from there you reach the Waltersweirer Baggersee. Passing through forest and meadows, you reach the Schutterwälder Baggersee. Emma's lake garden invites you to linger, when it is open. Past the Burgerwaldsee, you pass Offenburg airport and reach the Königwaldsee. Past the prison, you reach the Gifizsee with the beautiful peninsula and petting zoo. Past the large dike, you go to Ortenberg and up a climb to the Schloss Ortenberg winery. From there, it is mostly uphill and downhill through the vineyards via Fessenbach, Zellweierbach, Rammersweier. There are always beautiful views of Offenburg, the Vosges and Strasbourg. Past the Roman baths, you go back to the car park. If you want, you can stop off at the Brauwerk. I have modified the tour a little for myself, but for the most part it is the same as the original tour. If you want, you can bring your swimwear.

As described, this is a very nice and varied tour, which is rather hilly at the end.
Unfortunately, the tour does not coincide with the signage, which at the beginning is quite good, but especially in the last third very confusing or not available. It's a shame because you have to stop unnecessarily to
