I'm somewhat ambiguous about this place. On the one hand, the connection to the island by ferry is great for a day tour and the hike is easy and very beautiful.
On the other hand, despite the currently few tourists, quite a lot of people gather at this point at the same time. Since we had to travel an hour, only the 10 a.m. ferry (the last one for the outward journey if you want to do everything in peace) was interesting for us. Although we were there half an hour before departure, we were one of the last cars allowed on the ferry. Some cars had to turn around again. Checking in was very fair, a car that pushed ahead was stopped until everyone else was on it! In any case, most people take the 10 a.m. ferry and then the first ferry back at around 3 p.m., because then you have done everything. As I said, this causes a bit of a rush at the parking lot and during the hike.
