This waterfall, about 1.5km from the parking lot, you should definitely visit. Due to the basalt formations, this 20m high waterfall has something mystical.

July 4, 2024,🇮🇸 Svartifoss (Wasserfall)
"A foss a day keeps the children ok" (old Icelandic proverb). This time with basalt columns, hardly any visitors and very beautiful secondary hiking trails. The area is framed on both sides by glaciers (Jökull). Very impressive!
