The circumnavigation of the drinking water dam Mauthaus (commonly called Ködeltalsperre) is definitely a highlight for runners, walkers, inline skaters and roller skiers on the asphalt circuit. Even racing cyclists are regularly sighted there. For mountain bikers, however, it is more worthwhile to circle the reservoir one or sometimes two floors higher.
