The day actually promised everything. At the beginning the tunnel vision was trained by the rain and the clouds... Small/short glances in the very close environment were only possible. At least the salamanders were uphill in our focused field of view.
Then suddenly the weather cleared up and we were able to spot our route. Was that good???

Walser Hammerspitze T3, then it becomes challenging to Gehrenspitze (T5). The scramble begins, partly exposed but the path is still clearly visible. There is no comparison to Oberstdorfer Hammerspitze (T5+). Completely exposed, orientation on some trails. A lot of climbing and a consistently high risk of falling. Wear a helmet because of falling rocks.
