Shady forest walk alongside the Lainbach stream. Beautiful birdsong in the forest. Then impressive meadows with views over Kochelsee and Herzogstand accompanied by the sound of cow bells. Car park at Franz Marc Museum was very expensive (€7 + €2 Tax). Seems like there's plenty of free on-Sreet parking further up Herzogstandweg on the other side of the museum.
More demanding than expected... Indicated here as an "easy" route, it was more rough terrain than expected. It started steeply uphill and ended over hill and dale, sometimes without signs or signposts. In the end it was a nice route with beautiful spots and great waterfalls.
Hard greetings go out to the young man who swam naked under the waterfall …

The nearly 7 km long circular trail starts at Kochel train station and briefly goes through the village. Up narrow forest paths, …

Finally in our new home, and with this weather, we naturally had to explore our new surroundings. A lovely hike from Kochel to the Lainbach Waterfall and back via the Kohlleiten. Finally, a delicious piece of cake at Cafe König. We did everything right today 😉👍
