Today I'm going on the German side of the Vaalserberg to the Three-Country Point. It doesn't get any higher here in the Netherlands. Then back downhill to Vaals, past Bokkerijder and Wilhelminaturm.
At the market, I buy a kilo of delicious, large Hedelfinger cherries, Bakfisch, green asparagus, and bread. Then it's home with the spoils. The Bakfisch was excellent again. …
