The Inselberg isn't far. But it climbs a steady 560m over 6km... As Steigsteiger said, a ramp...
It's always put me off running this route...
But once you're up there, you can enjoy a nice up-and-down walk through the forest. 🤩
Today we're heading back via the region's highlights: Rennsteig, Tanzbuche, Hirschsprung, Aschebergstein, Lauchagrund....
