December 29, 2023,Routeburn Track bis zur ersten Hütte

Fantastic trail that leads along the river high into the mountain. Various suspension bridges are crossed and you can see how the landscape and the plants change the higher you go. Highly recommended, but the trail is designed for 3 day tours, so we turned back at the first hut.
