Kačić Square (Trg Kačića Miošića)

Hike from Kotišina. Right at the beginning of the tour is the beautifully landscaped Botanical Garden, and a little further up is Veliki Kaštel, a fortress built into the rock by the Venetians in the 16th/17th century for defense against the Ottomans.
Today, the beautifully restored Kaštel houses an information center providing information about the Biokovo Mountains.
