This zoo still impresses with corners and places where you can pause without much hustle and bustle. The flow of visitors is lost due to the vastness of this park. The zoo was opened after the war (in the GDR), which can still be seen in some corners today - but only in the design and nature of the enclosure, not in the animals! A lot of money has been taken in hand and a lot has changed in the zoo in recent years, or a lot is still being renewed. The highlight of the zoo is the African part with a huge, new elephant enclosure (actually, animals are still missing here, it's that big) or the new, beautiful monkey house. Otherwise, almost everything from bees to elephants is included.
Interesting for families: adults pay moderately and children up to 15 pay nothing ... nothing! You are already in a good mood at the entrance ;-)
