The tour starts in the highest village in Hesse – Ulrichstein! Unfortunately, the trails around Hohenrodskopf aren't in the best condition at the moment. Fallen trees and sections destroyed by cross-country ski trails are waiting for a little TLC. Otherwise, this is a great area. Always worth a visit!
