Today we took a slightly longer walk starting from Elpe. Wonderful views allowed us to gaze into the distance and into the valley.

A striking number of felled trees were visible along the path, and bare patches gave us a glimpse of nature's struggles. Newly planted cuttings are slowly but steadily greening up the barren patches!
