While my car was being changed in the workshop, I went on an exploration tour to the rocks in the forest called "Mamerleeën"

Our season kicks off on May 1st 😃 Beautiful tour through the forest in the middle of Luxembourg, near Mersch. Uphill and downhill, surefootedness and flexibility (for climbing under and over tree trunks ;-) required. The circular route starts at the obelisk and is well signposted. There are many benches and rest areas along the way. The only downside is …

May 21, 2023,Guttland.Trail Mamerleeën (ehemals Auto-Pédestre Mersch)

The Guttland.Trail Mamerleeën (formerly Auto-Pédestre Mersch) is a manageable hiking trail that leads through a lot of forest and involves some ascents and descents. The new signage is a bit confusing at the beginning and it mostly leads along a mountain bike trail. Apart from that, definitely recommended.

October 26, 2024,🇱🇺 Guttland Trail Mamerleeën

4/5 ⭐, in the best autumn weather we did this great hike in the forest between Mersch and Schoenfels. There are impressive rock and cave formations hidden there, such as the "Mamerleeën", which consist of natural sandstone caves as well as a network of artificial tunnels. The path led us through the forest on mostly entertaining paths. Particularly impressive were …

Between two work appointments in Mersch I used the extended lunch break to do the Guttkandtrail "Mamerleeën" in a slightly shorter way.
Nice little tour that has some highlights to offer.
