A lovely viewpoint where you can see both the lake and a cascading stream (Jägerbach) meeting the water. The waterfalls through the vegetation add an extra natural element.

August 22, 2025,Wanderung von Eisenbreche zum Blasiwälder - Wasserfall.
Impressions from our hike today to the Blasiwälder Waterfall. The start and finish was the dam at Schluchsee. From there, we headed to Eisenbreche and then on to the waterfall. The waterfall was unmarked and led to today's highlight on a barely discernible path. We returned along the lakeside path to the dam.

Lake Schluchsee is currently experiencing low water levels – an inspiration to hike around Lake Schluchsee again. This offers extraordinary views and photo opportunities.

We've decided to hike on the quiet side of the lake, from the dam to Unterkrummenhof.

Today we went to the Schluchsee. The largest lake in the Black Forest.
We started at the dam wall and then hiked directly along the lake and then uphill a bit through the forest away from the lake.
From the highest point, a beautiful path led back down to the lake 😉👍.
On the way back we used one of …
