About 50% of the route is only for experienced hikers. Route partly very steep and impassable, rocky and stony. Good footwear is required, e.g. hiking/trekking shoes, our sneakers were not suitable.

Unfortunately you can't see much of the Pont d'Arc unless you daredevilily hang from the rock or something. A few more pictures would have helped. Super cool solo hike on the heights above the Pont D'Arc, while the little family did a 12 km canoe descent below..
The heat being really very strong and not having met any other hikers, I found myself in a world of absolute tranquility, in full communion with nature.
