The run is scenically beautiful, past many ponds, over roots, trails, gravel and asphalt and tough mountain breakers. At km 13 all runners had to pass a wasps' nest and I was stung by one under the lip and many others were stung too. Otherwise it was a personal success up to km 18, but then my legs cramped and …
