Spring is calling, no, it is screaming for us ;)

To soak up some warming sun, we went on a short hike near Berlebeck. As soon as we reached the ridge, the first path was already closed and we didn't want to disturb anyone. The main path was also beautiful, although the amount of asphalt is strange.

A sunny midday hike in the Teutoburg Forest;

a bit of the Lower Saxony Trail, a bit of the Löns Trail, lots of ankle-high rustling beech leaves – garnished with the sounds of military exercises from the nearby Senne training area.

I even catch a glimpse of the ruins of Falkenburg Castle on the opposite hill...
