The electric locomotive no. 4-98 of the type EL-3 exhibited here
was in the Senftenberg area from 1955 to 1999
(Tgb. Niemtsch and Tgb. Meuro) in use as a coal locomotive.
This type of locomotive was used from 1975 to 1995 in the Olbersdorf opencast mine.
It was transferred here to Olbersdorf on March 10, 2000 and erected as a technical monument.
