You can usually rely on treecreepers and nuthatches to turn up somewhere and pose for a photo – even when there's not much else going on. The goldcrest, on the other hand, fluttered in front of my lens for the first time.

Finally, the first small tortoiseshell butterflies were there. And a Cabbage White, a Skipper, House and Tree Sparrows, Yellowhammer and Grey Heron, Blackcap, Red Kite and Marsh Harrier, Wood Lark, Goldfinch, Peacock Butterfly and Comma Butterfly were also photographed. Pied Wagtail and Fieldfare could even be documented collecting building materials. As always, everything very beautiful and exciting in the Buckowseerinne.
