After a turbulent journey by train, we still had a lovely tour with some unexpected highlights.
From the Weida holiday resort, we went to the former Mildenfurth monastery and castle. The site now houses the art granary with works by the renowned sculptor Volkmar Kühn.
We then continued to the parish church of St. Veit in Wünschendorf. At 1,000 years …
