Particularly beautiful in autumn with the changing color of the leaves. At the beginning the path was difficult to see, partly because of tree felling work. Ascents and descents on clay soil are quite smooth. Overall very atmospheric.

The forest here is very varied, deciduous and mixed forest, and therefore looks quite intact. Our first destination is the Stierberg castle ruins. Unfortunately, there is not much left to see of the freely accessible upper castle.
