What a beautiful tour, even though it was still quite cool at 7 degrees when we started this morning. The entire complex of Corvey Castle and Church is very impressive, and the entrance fee is worth it 😉😍

October 10, 2023,Von Höxter über Boffzen durch den Hutewald zum Weser Sky Walk, weiter nach Bad Karlshafen, zur Krukenburg, von dort zum Papageienhof Dreiländer Eck, an der Weser entlang mit Abstecher zum Droste-Hülshofturm zurück nach Höxter.

Very nice, varied tour through the Hutewald with free-roaming horses and Heck cattle. Very nice paths and single trails. A visit to the Krukenburg is worth it. Nice people from the local association even provided hospitality. The Sky Walk offers a beautiful view over the Weser. Bad Karlshafen has probably seen better days. There is still room for improvement.

This tour was really wonderful.
Just went for it and had a lot of fun in surprisingly good trail conditions.
Anyone who likes it technical and trail-heavy will also like this tour.
On the way home I took a quick home trail on the Brunsberg.
