Murphy-Hanrehan Park Reserve Trailhead

Highlight • Trail

There is parking at this trailhead leading to several summer hiking trails and winter ski trails. There are some singletrack trails accessible from here as well, and a dog park. The park is open from 5am to 10pm.

Parking and water fountain

Highlight • Rest Area

There are bathrooms here, but no powered ventilation so... YMMV

Challenging biking, I've only done the beginner and intermediate. I like the beginner loop a lot, out in the prairie, fast packed sand with some small jumps.

8.44 km

This feature has five plank steps which take you across an old dried streambed. There is a singletrack that wraps around the feature to offer an alternate pathway. This is a great fun feature for beginner riders.

Downward Staircase

Highlight • MTB Park

This series of small drops creates a bike stairway for riders to enjoy. Notice the trail that goes around the feature if you're out for a more mellow ride.

Murphy-Hanrehan Singletrack Trail

Highlight (Segment) • MTB Park

As the name suggests, this is a singletrack trail that provides over 10 miles of trail ranging from easy to advanced for riders of all skill levels. It's worth noting that the park may close at times due to weather conditions, so be sure to check before you go.

Central Meeting Spot

Highlight • MTB Park

Mid point for blue, start and end for black (which is the big reason people come to Murphy). Don't fret the big rock in the entry to black.

Black is long. Budget at least an hour for black, not including time to get to this central point.
