From Saint-Maurice-sur-Moselle, we drove up the switchbacks to the Ballon d'Alsace.
Not to the upper parking lot, of course; we still wanted to hike a bit!

Nice, yet tough walk. Especially the first part which is narrow and rocky. Good shoes, a steady foot and good balance are necessary. Otherwise generally a quiet walk. Only the climb to the Ballon d'Alsace is just as steep, but still doable
