A beautiful trail that winds around the nature reserve to Hollum.
In Hollum, the best trails are in the forest near the lighthouse, although you always have to be considerate of hikers.

The first tour on Ameland led from the bike rental in Buren to the accommodation near Hollum. Always along the north side of the island, the route continues through the autumnal dune landscape towards the lighthouse. Since everything is flat, well developed and signposted, you can concentrate more on the landscape than on navigation.
