Today we went again to the beautiful nature reserve at Lio Piccolo. This time we didn't see any flamingos, but there were a few other pretty water birds to see.

Started this morning from the Cavalino campsite into the lagoon. Great tour that we stopped at Lio Picolo because we would have had to wait 2 hours for the ferry. Then there would have been a good 45 km via Jesolo. We didn't want to go through that anymore at 26°C ☀️

Tourism is increasing on the Lio Piccolo. There is now even a tourist train and a boat ferry for bicycles. So visit during the week. It's always worth driving here, even if it gets a bit crowded. Everyone just wants to see this wonderful lagoon with the birds. 🦩🦩 I knew it as an insider tip 😉
