Almost 28 years ago, in December 1996, I visited Cagliari for the first time with @Matthias😎 as part of my officer training course. I think a lot has changed here since then. But this city is still worth a visit!

Our first stop on our cruise with the AIDA Cosma through the western Mediterranean. We explored the city on our own and looked at the old town in the Castelle area. The alleys in the old town, the Cattedrale di Santa Maria and the many views of and over the city are worth seeing. We liked it.
