The first leg of the walk took us to some truly peaceful villages! Among the most picturesque are Santa Restituta (population: 5, immaculately clean and well-kept), Toscolano, and Melezzole. For us, it was a rather challenging leg due to the distance and elevation gain, with some short stretches on wild trails ruined by flowing water.
