Icy cold, forced to stop for 5 minutes under a bus shelter to try to stop shaking...
But otherwise the peaks of Mercantour covered in snow in the distance, simply extraordinary!

Just after Guillestre, at the entrance to the Gorges du Guil, follow the sign 'obligatory cyclist direction', and turn right on the route de la Viste: this avoids the road and the narrow tunnels (at the cost of a short climb).
