We spontaneously took the train to Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe and from there hiked through the impressive Wilhelmshöhe Mountain Park (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
We visited Wilhelmshöhe Palace, climbed up to the Hercules monument, and continued on to Löwenburg Castle.
