Heute Mittag habe ich spontan eine Radtour nach Bad Driburg unternommen – bei dem traumhaft sonnigen Wetter einfach die beste Entscheidung. Der Weg führte vorbei an der Max-und-Moritz-Quelle, (*Die Quellmulde ist durch einen Tagebaustollen vor über vierhundert Jahren entstanden. Der originelle Name der Quelle wird zurückgeführt auf zwei Altenbekener Originale und Eisenbahner, die auf ihren Wanderungen regelmäßig diesen Ort für eine gemütliche Rast ausgesucht haben. Diese beiden eifrigsten Besucher waren in der Bevölkerung als lustiges Pärchen "Max und Moritz" bekannt.*) und zurück fuhr ich durch Hebram-Wald (ein Ortsteil der Energiestadt Lichtenau) wieder nach Paderborn. Nach den regenreichen Tagen der letzten Woche zeigte sich das Wetter heute endlich wieder von seiner besten Seite – perfekt für eine Wanderung! Unsere rund 18,5 Kilometer lange Tour führte uns zu den schottischen Hochlandrindern in der Wistinghauser Senne. Auf dem Weg kamen wir am nahegelegenen Truppenübungsplatz vorbei und folgten anschließend ein Stück dem Hermannsweg. Zurück ging es schließlich zum Ausgangspunkt am Bokelfenner Krug, – eine richtig schöne Tour! 🥾🐂 und absolut zum nachwandern zu empfehlen.
