A short hike to Madenburg Castle, one of the largest castle complexes in the Palatinate. Today I walked on paths I hadn't been on in a long time, or even knew existed: beautiful trails in the forest; muddy paths in the vineyards; and some particularly wet sections along the Kaiserbach stream.
