Those who like to cycle on the river will find plenty of variety in this area. From paved expressways to sandy slopes and short forest paths, everything is available. On my tour there were 3 heavy rain showers. Meppen is nicely dressed up, Haren is rather boring. The overall mix of the tour deserves a good rating.
