Along the route, you can enjoy amenities like water fountains, restrooms, shady spots, boat launches, and places to cool off like the Barton Springs or Deep Eddy Pool, . Highlights include the Stevie Ray Vaughan statue at Auditorium Shores, the Bat Observation Center at the Austin American-Statesman, and Zilker Park, home to the Austin City Limits Music Festival.
