Today we walked around the Haddorf gravel pit lakes. The weather was perfect, around 20 degrees Celsius.
One of the lakes is a swimming lake with a large beach area and lawns. The lake landscape was created by gravel and sand mining. The Stovern Forest borders our holiday home.
