Estebrügge Swing Bridge

Highlight • Bridge

A picturesque swing bridge in Estebrügge. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see it in action. Luckily, I didn't have to wait. :-) The narrow bridge doesn't allow two-way traffic. It's lined with beautiful, old, colorful half-timbered houses.

From Moorburg you can cycle very nicely on the dike into the old country. In late summer you can see thousands of apple trees with ripe fruit.

Old fruit farms line the paths along the Este, some farms have very stately entrance portals and many facades have been sensationally restored and shine splendidly.

July 24, 2022,24.07.22 Über Hove, Cranz und Estebrügge zurück nach Buxtehude
Shortly before the thermometer reached the 30° mark again, I was home from my little bike tour. This time I drove to the Elbe again. It then went back via Moorende, Hove and Estebrügge.

Today's tour took me back to Cranz on the Elbe, where I wanted to photograph the Sietas shipyard.
I have not been able to discover any changes or even a dismantling at the shipyard, which has been insolvent since July 2021.
