Today we started at the Hohenwarte pumped storage power plant. The thick tubes on the opposite slope are impressive. It went over a footbridge to the other side of the Saale (Eichicht reservoir) and uphill to the Hohenwarte dam.
Later the reservoir was circumnavigated. We went back down to the valley over the Rohrbahn bridge.
