The railway line 262 Szczytno – Biskupiec Reszelski (Ortelsburg - Bischofsburg) was built and launched in 1908/1909 by Königlich Preußische Eisenbahn-Verwaltung (KPEV), and in 2014 it was liquidated by PKP.
