September 17, 2022,8 Etappen auf dem Alpe Adria Radweg - Tag 7 - Von Campagnola nach Udine
It rained all night and poured like cats and dogs. Since the rain radar revealed some remaining clouds that would like to discharge, we put on our rain gear right before departure. We slept very well in our B&B accommodation which we can only recommend.
The track is soaking wet and we have to avoid puddles everywhere as best we …

Today we set off on the penultimate leg to Udine. Unfortunately, we had to leave the mountains. The bike paths weren't as nice as the day before, but the ride was still good. We repeatedly passed through small villages. The surrounding area became increasingly rural until we reached the city of Udine.

Showing Translation

In Italy, the route is almost exclusively on bike paths or small back roads away from main roads through idyllic villages and countryside. The route planners have done a good job here. In Udine, too, you can reach the city center off major roads.
