So, unfortunately, that was the last bike tour for today. We just made it to the campsite when something on my e-bike gave up the ghost. Too bad

This morning we started to explore Omaha beach with the military cemetery and the events of D Day May 6, 1944. Wonderful landscape with a depressing history. I had to leave the information center early because the pictures and film documentation really affected me. So terrible! And somehow people haven't learned anything from it🙈🙈🙈

Showing Translation

Today we headed back up the coast over Omaha Beach to Point du Hoc. We visited it and then returned along the coastal road.

Showing Translation

Today we cycled to Omaha Beach. That wasn't the best decision. First, it was Saturday, and second, D-Day is in six days. This means there are so many cars on the road, and sometimes it's almost impossible to get through on a bike.
