I'm spending a few days again at the "Lac d'Orient," the beautifully situated artificial lake in the "Forêt d'Orient" Regional Nature Park in the Grand Est region, because it's simply beautiful here!

Today I cycled to Troyes, a vibrant city on the Seine that's definitely worth seeing. I cycled this route in August 2023: (komoot.de/tour/1279546185?ref=aso).

Today we go from Lac d'Orient to Troyes on very well-developed cycle paths (mostly asphalt and well signposted).

Troyes is not Paris, but it is also on the Seine and there is even a Mona Lisa (replica) hanging in the local art museum.

A lively city worth seeing with a great history.
